Gender-based Approaches for improving food safety, value addition and marketing in livestock systems in western Uganda

Purpose of the collaboration.

The overarching goal with the collaboration is to provide the implementing team with opportunities to increase collaborative research network and to be part of a broader global community of scholars.

Long-term change for the project

Empowerment of women to produce and market safe milk products, do value addition and be able to access lucrative markets hence fetching high prices leading to increased household incomes and food security bringing about improved sustainable livelihoods in smallholder households in western Uganda.
