DS228 - Tourism Energy and Natural Resources Field study

As part of the course unit, Judith Irene Nagasha (Ph.D.) and Ms. Macklyn Ninsiima organized an academic field study for DS 228 Students to visit some of the natural resources that include, Lake Mburo National Park, Lake Mburo and its tourism sites, Rubaale fishing site along the Lake Mburo. This enhanced students’ ability to understand areas related to tourism, energy, and natural resources in relation to sustainable development goals and areas vital to the course unit and the programme generally. The academic field study further helped the students to translate theoretical knowledge into reality.
