Ricky Richard Anywar is a community development expert, legislator, educator, and administrator with broad non-profit management experience. Ricky founded a very successful NGO (Friends of Orphans) which is internationally accredited working with disadvantaged communities. Ricky has won several international awards for his work in protecting and saving the life’s of disadvantaged communities.
Ricky is serving as project advisor to both international NGOs and community-based organizations, working in the areas of education, vocational skills training, income generation, health, women empowerment and economic development.
Ricky is a successful politician representing the people of Agago West County in parliament of the republic of Uganda.
Ricky serves in many boards among others Peacing it Together Foundation, a US based non-profit making charitable donations organization dealing with peace building. End Slavery Now an organization based in the US, working with former slaves. Healing soccer Academy an organization promoting talents and providing educational opportunities for young children in Uganda.
Friends of Orphans is a child-focused non-profit charity organization based in Uganda, advocating for the rights of orphans, child mothers and vulnerable women heading families.
Ricky has experience in working with disadvantaged communities, war and HIV/AIDS-affected communities, and internally displaced persons.
