Josephine Bamanya
Josephine has a master’s degree in Rural Planning and Development from the University of Guelph, Canada and bachelor’s in development studies from Kyambogo University, Uganda (2008-2011 class). Over the years, Josephine has gained experience in research, strategic planning, capacity building, monitoring and evaluation. Since 2019 to present, Josephine works as an evaluation consultant for Harry Cummings and Associates (HCA) Inc. in Canada where she is now based. Prior to joining HCA, Josephine worked as a graduate student and teaching assistant at the University Guelph while undertaking her graduate program; and as a monitoring and evaluation officer at Management Sciences for Health in Kampala Uganda. Besides her regular job, Josephine is on the on-call international duty deployment for Samaritan’s Purse International, responding to disasters and emergencies around the world. Josephine’s countries of work experience include Uganda, Canada, The Bahamas, Ethiopia and Zambia.
